Magical Bhutan
I have had the most incredible journey and exploration of stunning Bhutan with a wonderful support team. They have looked after me so protectively with huge care. We have had great fun and enjoyed so much together - indeed now we are all family - I will treasure this journey in Bhutan forever - it is deep in my heart and fueled me spiritually - I was so incredibly sad to leave. My introduction to and time at the Zeus Dog Sanctuary in Thimpu was incredibly inspiring and emotional and i want all travelers to Bhutan to support their noble efforts with the beautiful dogs who need this care. Your service and response to all requests has been absolutely fantastic. I think my exceptional guide Shaker will give you great feedback too of my experiences which have been so varied and far reaching. I have loved my time here and accomplished, saw and learnt so much. I am indeed spreading the word about your magnificent Kingdom and its wonderful story, culture,history, beauty , nature and people. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Bhutan Experience with Experience Bhutan
My partner and I recently completed a 6-day, 5-night private tour of Bhutan with Experience Bhutan and I can confidently say that choosing Experience Bhutan was one of the best decisions we made for this journey. A special thank you to Mr. KHetnath who coordinated everything before our arrival. Communication was prompt, professional, and transparent throughout the planning process. The itinerary was well designed, accommodations were comfortable, and all arrangements went smoothly from the moment we landed in Paro until our departure. Our guide, Uddhar, accompanied us throughout the entire trip. Although he is young, he is incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and attentive. He patiently explained Bhutanese culture, history, Buddhism, and local traditions, making every monastery, dzong, and village visit much more meaningful. During our hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery, he carefully adjusted the pace to suit us and was always encouraging along the way. Our driver, Mr. Chincho, deserves special recognition as well. Driving in Bhutan involves winding mountain roads and long journeys between valleys, and we always felt completely safe in his hands. What impressed us most was his attentiveness. He constantly anticipated our needs, whether it was a comfort stop, a scenic photo opportunity, or simply making sure we were comfortable throughout the journey. He was calm, professional, dependable, and had a warm fatherly presence that made us feel genuinely cared for during the trip. For anyone considering a trip to Bhutan, I would highly recommend Experience Bhutan without hesitation. Trip with toddler and elderly- Beyond exceptional
Twelve years after my first enquiry about a solo trip to Bhutan, I reached out to Mr. Khetnath Sharma again — this time for a family trip that included elderly members and a toddler. The terrain and accessibility had me anticipating hurdles, but meticulous planning with Mr. Sharma put my mind at ease before we even departed. The moment we were received at the airport by our guide Ms. Phulmaya (Maya) and driver Mr. Jomo, every remaining doubt dissolved. They attended to the smallest needs and changes with quiet efficiency, lifting the burden of on-ground planning entirely off my shoulders. The journey itself was comfortable from the start — the electric BYD, luggage carefully packed on top by Jomo, the thoughtfully arranged breaks for snacks and fresh fruit along the way — every detail had been considered. Maya and Jomo were wonderfully patient and playful with my toddler, and the Khamsum Valley trek, which I had almost written off, became one of our highlights. They took turns carrying him up the trail, encouraging and entertaining him all the way to the top. That small act of kindness made a seemingly impossible experience not just possible, but joyful. Maya’s deep and articulate knowledge of Vajrayana Buddhism added a layer of cultural richness that transformed sightseeing into genuine learning. Bhutan already feels like a painting — her explanations made it feel like a living one. The pace of the entire trip was thoughtfully adjusted to suit our family, and the riverside stays were serene and restorative. The farewell dinner at a farmhouse, the intricate architecture and vibrant facade paintings of the monasteries, and the walk through jacaranda and willow trees leading to the Punakha Suspension Bridge are memories I will carry for a long time. Mr. Jomo’s driving was exceptionally professional — the rides were smooth, safe, and comfortable throughout. What stayed with us most, though, was the warmth of Maya and Jomo — their genuine care made the journey feel less like a tour and more like a spiritual encounter. Don't procrastinate, just go and enjoy the wonders of Bhutan and you will be well looked after by the team
Bhutan has been on my personal bucket list for many years, and we finally had the opportunity to tick it off. My wife and I arrived with few expectations, other than to experience the beauty of this landlocked, mountainous country and to witness its many temples and monasteries, deeply rooted in Buddhist culture. From the moment we left the airport, we received a truly warm welcome from our guide, Mr Uddhar, and our driver, Mr Harka. It was immediately clear that we would be very well looked after. Both Mr Uddhar and Mr Harka were thoughtful, patient, flexible, and highly accommodating throughout our trip. Mr Uddhar, in particular, was incredibly knowledgeable and able to answer almost every question we had about Bhutanese culture, food, Buddhism, and daily life. The journey was not only enjoyable but also highly educational and enlightening. One of our personal preferences was to dine outside the hotels and experience local cuisine, and we were certainly not disappointed. We can highly recommend the national dish, ema datshi—quite literally chilli cheese—which we enjoyed so much that we ordered it almost every night. We spent 10 days in Bhutan, and while it was an unforgettable experience, we easily could have stayed longer. Fantastic Bhutan Trekking!
For our first time in Bhutan my wife and I chose to trek with Experience Bhutan Travel. It was the perfect choice! In October 2025 we did a 12 day trek that combined the Jomolhari and Laya-Gasa routes. What an incredible once in a lifetime experience. Mr Khetnath was wonderful right from the start in helping us arrange our trip. He quickly answered our every question and made us feel warmly cared for. Every planning detail was managed for us beautifully. The head trekking and cultural guide he selected, Mr Rinzin, was by far the best guide I have ever had the pleasure of traveling with. He was expertly knowledgeable and deeply experienced while being friendly and humble - a perfect combination. The entire crew was top-notch. I can't say enough about how well we were treated at every turn. We loved learning so much about Bhutan all along the way - it's culture, history, and people. Experience Bhutan took care of all aspects of our trip, including the trek as well as visits to cultural sites, restaurants, and hotel stays in Paro, Gasa, Punakha, and Thimpu. Memorable fantastic visit to Bhutan

Unforgettable experience with a fantastic tour company
We had an amazing experience from start to finish. As soon as I reached out to the tour company months ago, I heard back right away from Mr. Khetnath and was given a reasonable quote for a customized private tour. Once we arrived, we were well taken care of the entire time. The tour was well organized with lots of sightseeing, hiking and free time to relax and explore some of the cities. Our guide (Mr. Beldon) and driver (Mr. Chencho) were such friendly, kind, professional individuals. They are awesome and we will miss them! Also, the accommodations exceeded our expectations. Amazing trip, highly recommend!
This was our first time in Bhutan and we thoroughly enjoyed our 7 days trip! The itinerary was well planned and customisable along the way to cater to our needs, giving us a nice mix of the best of Thimphu, Punakha and Paro. The highlight was definitely the trek up Tiger’s Nest and not to be missed! We had Mr. Ganga as our guide, and he was very knowledgeable and elaborated well on the history of the places we visited. Our driver Mr. Chencho was especially friendly and helpful as well. We also got to have lunch with Mr. Khetnath, the company owner of Experience Bhutan Travel Trek & Tours, giving a personal touch and displaying the best of Bhutanese warmth and hospitality. Thank you for having us and we highly recommend them!
